I just finished making my niece's communion cake. It took me way longer than it should have, mostly because i had no plan going into it. In the end, i think it ended up looking pretty nice.

Last year we bought this funpass from Breathe NH. Most of the items are buy one adult get one child free. The passes pretty much paid for themselves when we used the tix for storyland. We'll be getting them again this year.

I took the training wheels of the boys bikes tonight. I brought them to the parking lot at the end of my street and they rode a 2-wheeler for the first time! The fell a bunch, but kept getting back up! YAY!

The kids have been obsessed with the croc hunter lately. Ryan has decided he wants to be like the croc hunter when he gets older.

so, we were at the eye dr....

eye dr: So, what are you going to do when you grow up, Ryan?
Ryan: I am going to be a croc hunter
e.d.: That's pretty dangerous, maybe you can do something safer, like maybe be an animal vet or something
Ryan: Nope, I am going to be a croc hunter.

the next day while watching the croc hunter barely escaping death while taunting animals...

ryans eye update

Ryan took a trip to the eye dr yesterday and was able to remove his patch. He was given eye drops, an antibiotic and instructions to return today. At today's visit, the dr said that his eye was healing but she was concerned becuase instead of healing clear, there are white edges around where the abrasion was. She said that we have no idea what was on the stick and it could be causing an infection, or even fungus to be in his eye. She gave him a stronger antibiotic and instructions to go back on monday.
